The importance of generating backlinks to increase Page rank can not be emphasized any more, it is absolutely mandatory. Once you start your backlink building campaign, you will find that it can be a difficult task if you don’t know which direction to take.
The traditional way to acquire backlinks is to search the internet for websites with a high PR that share the same or similar interest with your own and ask them for a reciprocal link. Another source for acquiring backlinks that usually goes unnoticed are RSS feeds. You can use RSS feed for a variety of reasons. One reason is that they provide great exposure for your website or blog. RSS feeds are also a great backlinks tool, you not only generate backlinks every time your RSS feed is subscribe to, but you will also get free backlinks from each RSS feed directory you use to submit your website.

For best results submit to about 15 directories at a time to spread the amount of traffic you will receive. Spreading your traffic will also help with you Google ranking. It is a known fact that the main ingredient involved in creating a high Google ranking is to establish quality backlinks. This blog was established in order to provide you with all the backlink tools needed to help you to generate free backlinks. Since this is my first post I will start off by explaining the the art of getting backlinks in lamest terms. I will be discussing backlink definition,free backlinks and most importantly I will provide a backlink checker so you can keep track of your progress while establishing your backlinks.

Basically a backlink is an external page that links back to your website. The importance of having another site linking to your site is that it gives your website more relevance. You can look at it this way; It's not what you know its who you know. The more sites linking to you site the more important you site appears. You also have to be careful about what site you get backlinks from. It will not help you to get backlinks from sites with low page rank or that are not related to your site's content.
